Dutch designer Pieke Bergmans is in the running for the 2011-2012 edition of the Rotterdam Design Prize.

Nominated for her 'Light Blubs' and 'Llove Hotel' interior, Pieke speaks here about her design processes and how she sees her practice.

Other nominees for the 11th edition of the award include Piet Hein Eek, Rietveld Landscape, Dimitri Roels and Bart Hess.

If you're in Rotterdam, you can go and see all the nominees’ work as it's currently on view at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen until the 12th of February, but if not, don't worry as you can still vote (yes, it's up to the public as to who wins) for your favourite here.

An international jury will name the winner in the second week of February 2012.
