Hailing from the small town of Punkaharju in Finland, Punkalive is a new furniture manufacturer which launched their first collection at this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan. The new company is a new arm from Punkaharjun Puutaito, a 20 year old firm which specialises in processing wooden packaging materials for the paper and board industries. Now they're using their existing machinery to produce this stylish and durable Punkalive furniture, which is all manufactured from Kerto, a laminated veneer lumber product manufactured by Finnforest and collected in its rawest form from the forests that surround Punkaharjun.
