Sometimes, it's good to revisit the classics. New designs are often exciting, and innovative improvements on the objects we use daily, but icons are icons for a reason.

Which is exactly the mindset that Danish design firm Kaiser Idell share too, and their range of classic Bauhaus icons has us just as just as gooey-eyed as some of the new pieces we've seen so far this week.

Beautifully simple, these lamps still look as fresh as the day they were designed, and mix perfectly with the artefacts of our own era as well as the interior design of its age.

Definitely one for our Christmas wishlists. If it's good enough for New York's MoMA, it's good enough for us...
