SUGAR SPUN

This showstopper of a light fitting was first launched at this year's 100% Design London event back in September, but we think it's pretty appropriate to mention it now since we're currently well into the Christmas run up.

'Sugarspin' is by Beate Einen Glass Design, based, apppropriately enough, up in frosty Norway. Sugar is the firm's reference here, but it looks like an incredible pink jellyfish/icicle hybrid to us.

Beautifully fragile, delicately playful, yet easily strong enough to act as the centrepiece to a room.

We love this.
