With hindsight, we're actually amazed this collaboration didn't happen earlier, but here it is.
Yes, Turner Prize winner Damien Hirst has designed luggage for Louis Vuitton, but this one isn't likely to be flying off the shelves since it's a bit more monumental than Murakami's hit collaboration with the French luxury label.
Hirst was apparently inspired by the movie 'Dead Ringers' where a display of beautiful stainless steel surgical instruments caught his imagination.
Each trunk contains ten different sized drawers with compartments made to accomodate each individual surgical instrument. The twin trunks have been made in black Nomade leather with an illustrated array of butterflies individually placed by Damien himself.
Two silver skulls are also to be found inside each lid.
