The traditional chandelier is an undisputed design classic, beloved of aristos and designers of swanky hotels, but here's a twist on the archetype which has a fresh minimal take on the norm.

Created by Petr Mikosek and Michaela Vratnikova of Boa Design Studio, the loops of neon ape the curves of strung crystals, producing an outline that is at once recognisable and unusual.
