Philly-based Fleisher Ollman Gallery have had a great run of interesting exhibitions lately, so we thought we'd give you notice for another potential goodie opening on February the 25th.

'Nameless and Reverberating' is a show by Chicago artist Luis Romero of his new drawings, collages and constructions, (composed mainly with graphite and pen on paper) which betray an interest in visual contradiction; one where empty surfaces give way to false depth and concentrated lines appear to form tangible shapes.

While demonstrating Romero's awareness of Op Art and modernist formalism, these drawings are equally grounded in a personal mark-making practice which makes for fascinating and thought-provoking viewing.

On view as a complement to Romero's work will also be a selection of small collages by Ray Yoshida. The exhibition will run until March the 27th.
