Designer Arik Levy has just produced this great series of objects for Italian firm Bitossi Ceramiche.
Bitossi has been producing hand-made ceramics for around 80 years, and this collection is the latest in a long line of designer collaborations stretching back right into the company's heritage.
The 'Tribe Collection' - to be launched at this year's Milan Salone - uses linear shapes and showcases Levy's original approach to materials. The designer's study of proportions is underlined by the contrast of raw textures and a pop of bright green, whilst archetypal reminiscences and contemporary graffitis are the main references Levy looked to.
In each of the bowls and pots, a unique finish magnifies the textural aspect of ceramics and the craft technique of pieces thrown on the potters wheel.
