Young Barcelona-based designer Christian Vivanco initially bounced onto our radar back in October of last year when we caught sight of his Rem light - but now here's his first range of products set to go into production thanks to Luz Difusion.
Called the Lighthouse collection, the inspiration behind his range of lighting began as a fusion concept, where his project "From a Lost City" met the idea of old Lighthouses from the shores. The collection will launch in April at the Light & Building event in Frankfurt.
Vivanco has given the wall, floor and desk lamps a rather 60s feel thanks to his combination of gleaming white metal and oak; an approach which expresses an air of renovation, but also timeliness and modern relevance.
We give this an M.E. thumbs up.
