Japanese furniture artisans Maruni have updated their collection recently with these new pieces.
They've added a chair to their Hiroshima range, which follows the same rounded seamless lines as the rest of the collection, but this time it's been shrunk down to neat little seat - perfect for the kitchen or dining room. To match, Maruni have also created a little ottoman; as simple and elegant as can be where only the most vital lines remain.
There's also a new colour for Hiroshima; a deep and rich brown for the oak wood, and the firm will be introducing leather for the seat covers exclusively for this shade too.
With each season and each new piece, Maruni seem to tweak and gently adjust, adding the necessary elements to complement their ranges which have as much impact individually as they do as a set.
No radical restyle or shock gimmicks, just proper, beautifully thought-out heirloom quality furniture.
