Dutch designer Reinier de Jong will be presenting a new table at the 2010 Salone del Mobile called 'Volt' which plays with fluid Escher-like lines.
De Jong's table has a continuous run of faceted, almost paper folded surfaces which pull together to create a fluid shape which is dynamic as it is minimal.
At the same time, it's flexible and practical - it can be produced in a wide variety of colours and has space for six chairs. (We think these would look good with it...)
Volt will be presented as part of the 'Autofficina' exhibition in Ventura Lambrate, Milan, between April the 14th and 19th - a collective show of leading Dutch designers which looks to be well worth a visit if you're headed to the Fair.
