FUTURE CLASSICS BY PIET BOON

Visitors to Milan Design Week will be able to experience Dutch designer Piet Boon's work in a new way this year.

In a departure from previous years, both iconic Piet Boon furniture designs and new product launches will be connected in a series of fully styled living spaces.

An art gallery space in the Zona Tortona will spotlight both classic and new pieces from the collection, profiling the craftsmanship involved in the company’s furniture making, whilst living and dining areas offer diverse visions of contemporary lifestyles.

Marrying functional, timeless design and natural materials with distinguishing signature details, Boon's products are the antithesis of flash-in-the-pan gimmicks - we're loving the sparing contemporary form of the soft tan leather chaise longue and the quilted details to be found on the seat of his barstool and dining chair.

Future classics - if they're not in that category already...
