Sebastian Herkner will be at the SaloneSatellite during Milan Design Week, presenting his new designs.
Herkner seems to have bold interior elements covered this year, showcasing his new lamps 'Lian' and 'Chalice', as well as a great geometric side table called 'Nomis'.
He'll also be bringing along a clever new storage piece called 'Pithead Cage' - an adjustable storage system with a form borrowed from the mining industry.
This new interpretation is designed for a small kitchen or bathroom, to store stuff near the cooker or the washbowl. You can fix your objects to the hooks on the cage or place them in the container, using the cord to lift or lower the whole thing...
AdditionaIly you'll find more of Herkner's work elsewhere in Milan during the Salone, since his smart industrial looking 'Bell-Light' forms part of the Design Deutschland 2010 exhibition in Spazio Romeo Gigli.
