Swedish design studio Henzel presented their award-winning handtufted rugs in New York over the weekend and wowed us with their craftsmanship and creative designs.

Far and away from the norm when it comes to flooring, these painterly textile artworks are definitely design investments rather than merely something woolly to put by the fire...

Henzel's works now form part of DDC (Domus Design Collection) NYC, who had their new flagship showroom grand opening on Madison Avenue just in time for the ICFF kick-off on the 14th; complete with special guest Margaret Russel (editor in chief of Elle Decor) in attendance.

Next stop for Studio Henzel is Las Vegas, where they'll be at the HD Expo Las Vegas celebrating their rugs being introduced at Unica Home on the 20th and 21st of this month.
