Aki and Arnaud Cooren of Parisian design studio A+A Cooren will be launching their new 'Tourbillon' vase on the 9th of this month at Gallery S. Bensimon - in time for the upcoming Designer's Days event in the French capital.

'Tourbillon' (meaning 'Vortex') is a swirling glass edition evoking the water cycle; capturing a 'snap-shot' of a subtle natural harmony.

The vase is composed of two pieces - the dynamic of the water captured within, accentuated by the rigidity of a glass bubble that surrounds it.

The piece, which comes in three different sizes in a limited edition of just 21 pieces, is the result of a meeting between computer technology and high quality craftsmanship - the latter realized by master glass craftsman, Wilfried Allyn.
