LIGHT LEAVES

There might be all manner of digital book formats out there now, but the vast majority of us still read good old fashioned paper books with pages.

However, this doesn't mean that new ways of page marking and illuminating can't be explored.

We're loving the simple practicality of 'Lightleaf'; an illuminated OLED bookmark concept designed by designer Valentina Trimani.

The Lightleaf is nearly as thin as a page in a book, runs wirelessly, is rechargeable, and even comes with a brightness control to turn it down so that it won’t disturb others nearby.

Perfect for reading in bed, but it would definitely have plenty of applications for other activities like camping, or reading maps in the car.
