WONDER WOOD

We don't tend to feature a great amount of beauty products here on M.E. but today, we're going to make a massive exception. Because very few perfumes can claim to to have an accompanying stop-motion film created by the The Brothers Quay.

The scent in question is by Comme des Garçons, (who else but Rei Kawakubo would break with the norm in such style?) and called 'Wonderwood'; as is the film.

Apparently, the piece, "...is about a man who loved trees more than words could say. An allegorical representation of non verbal passion, the film expresses through visual rapture the beautiful exorbitance of this new Comme des Garçons fragrance."

The fragrance, created from solely wood scents like cedar, cypress and sandalwood, launched at Dover Street Market and Selfridges at the end of last month.
