Alexander Hulme seems to have come up with a new design for a classic object which is a mighty big improvement on the original.

This little ash wood orb is a doorstop, and because it's round, you can quickly kick it under a door from any angle, so no more hopping about trying to get the traditional wedge shape the right way around.
