Swedish designer Mattias Ståhlbom of TAF Arkitektkontor, has come up with this smart little light which has a multitude of uses.

Shaped a bit like a bottle, its 'cap' enables you to hang it with a wire on the ceiling. The cap is made of diecast aluminium and is painted or left natural.

“Use it as a pendant, on the floor, on the table or at the wall. Use it everywhere, even outside,” says Ståhlbom.

From living room to terrace party, if you need your light source to be pretty flexible, this might be the answer.
