Come September, British designer Tom Dixon will be busy overseeing an eye-popping number of events and launches during the London Design Festival 2010.
First off, he'll be debuting these new pieces at The Dock in the Tom Dixon Shop, and in addition, Tom has handpicked an international mix of concession brands to be showcased alongside his ranges, including products from Piet Hein Eek, Areaware, Simon Hasan, and New Caribbean Design.
Tom will also be hosting 'Global Industry,' transforming the whole area of the canal side estate of Portobello Dock into an epicentre for great design events for the week of the festival.
Expect indoor and outdoor installations, exhibitions, on the spot manufacturing and pop-up shops from an eclectic collection of international design entrepreneurs from around the world.
Too many for us to list here (click below for more information) but Copenhagen Lab, Formica, Fine Cell Work, Moooi, Ateliers Ruby, Steel Life, and Extremis are all in on the party...
Ooh, and Brompton Bicycles will be there assembling and selling limited edition Tom Dixon copper plated bikes too.
Surely the best way to speed around the city to catch all the launches during the festival?
