Designer Kai Linke seems to have been busy of late.

Aside from being nominated for this year's Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, Kai has also recently produced some great new designs, and is in the middle of doing the design fair rounds.

We thought we'd bring to your attention this great series to which Kai has recently added more pieces...

'Blasted Familii' is a set of simple, blasted objects made out of spruce wood. The objects appear to be rough and aged but at the same time the wooden relief tells another story. Amongst the items are a wooden chest with a relief inspired by antique chests, and a charming little coffee table with a ceramic top and spruce legs.
