Sebastian Herkner has just launched these lamps - new pendant members of his Bell-Light family.

A luminaire inspired by spotlights and reflectors, the changeable lampshades are made of copper, steel or textile, influencing the atmosphere, temperature and colour of light of each lamp. The bodies of the spots are manufactured through a traditional metal compression process in brass, copper or steel.

Sebastian will be exhibiting these in Shanghai soon at the German Living show as part of the Interior Lifestyle expo there, but we also thought we'd let you know that he's also picked up a nomimation as one of the five shortlisted Newcomer Finalists for the German Design Prize 2011.

The winner will be announced in Frankfurt on the 11th of February, and we''ll be reporting on the ceremony when the time comes.
