SUSTAINABLE WOOL FURNISHINGS BY FIVETIMESONE

Here's something fun to kick-start your morning; we love this selection of soft furnishings by Polish design collective Fivetimesone.

Their range of seamless pillows and poufs that emulate stones or remind us of brightly coloured easter eggs are made from completely natural Merino wool - all hand made so each one is unique.

"Just as a stone in nature, each pillow is unique" say the studio.

"Wool, as a natural raw material is durable, insulates against the cold, is hypoallergenic, it breathes and does not accept dirt".

The group is a gang of architects, designers and design madcaps all brought together by Fivetimesone founder Miroslaw Poplawski. Their connection is not just a common design aesthetic, but they also share responsible ethics when it comes to the environment:

"During design processes and production we take care about the ecology. We use mostly natural, biodegradable materials. We create objects inspired by nature and strive to expose diverse traditions of European craftsmanship.

Sustainable design gives us the opportunity to supply products, which as scaled or funny, fit harmoniously into our environment. What characterises us is care, respect, fascination and sensitivity towards the environment, technology, material and design."
