Originally created for the Swiss pavilion at the recent Shanghai expo, this range of 'Shanghai' solid teak seating and occasional tables is contemporary, and incredibly luxurious and classic at the same time.
The Swiss pavilion had the theme of 'Better City, Better Life' so the furniture within it had to be both a high-grade design and environmentally conscious too.
Inch, (whose name comes from IN for Indonesia where their pieces are made, and CH for Switzerland) have a ecologically sustainable, economically responsible production process and an eye on long-term design, making them the perfect candidates for the job.
We love the jointed, heaviness to the pieces; particularly the big Shanghai Lounge Chair which looks ideal to sink into and relax in.
Trendy, disposable design this is not.
These are the kind of seating pieces you're going to keep for a lifetime.
