Are you sitting comfortably?
No?
Well this new line of 'SAYL' chairs by Yves Behar of FuseProject for Herman Miller might just be what you're looking for.
A new reference point for the world leader in ergonomic task chairs, SAYL is light, ergonomic, technologically advanced, and also (brilliantly) the lowest cost task chair produced by the brand.
Not that all this innovation came easily; there was a three year design and innovation process, during which the Fuseproject team refined the designs to the highest detail, as well as taking care of the marketing campaign, naming, advertising, promotional and exhibit materials.
The SAYL chair collection is inspired by the principles of suspension bridges and comes in lots of different colours and materials.
"By rethinking every part of the chair, we were able to innovate the back structure and offer the first frameless suspension system. say FuseProject.
"We sought to remove anything that was not necessary while still delivering a high level of performance and aesthetics. We call the resulting products eco-dematerialised™ and attainable: lower carbon footprint (30% lighter) and lower retail cost thanks to materials and assembly savings."
