These great seating pieces were launched earlier in the year at the 2010 Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan and are now available to buy.

Created by London designers Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer of Raw Edges for Cappellini, the series is called 'Tailored Wood' and consists of a series of organic oak wood veneer shapes filled with expanding foam.

Each piece is prepared to expand the foam inside, a process that crinkles the veneer in a way that makes each piece unique.

A simple idea executed beautifully which we like very much.
