Japanese design trio Leif.designpark have recently been developing this new chair, called 'Proto 01' since it's still at prototype stage.

They've been exploring the forms and lightness frameworks create in this experimental project by through "repetitious feedback, going against the modern method which a form and materials concludes functionality."

The lightness of the chair is emphasised by its apparently floating frame; a feeling heightened by a lightweight woven seat and back.

This back and seat are also give comfortable to sit on, but their bent shape gives an impression of a depth which seems too deep compared to the seat of a normal chair.

Although pursuit of this shape has resulted in a big gap; the dead space has been transformed as a practical holder functions as storage for belongings.
