Designer and cabinetmaker Kristoffer Kjaer has recently added this new bench to his range of luxurious wood furniture.
“The Hover Eco Bench is both a luxurious piece of furniture and a unique piece of design with a sustainable history” says Copenhagen based Kjær.
“The vertically positioned lamellae which form the seat of the bench all originate from old Dutch colony houses in Indonesia. They are cut from century-old teak and rosewood trunks that have been sawn up and treated with oil."
This reclaimed teak gives the pieces a supremely high quality edge; and this mixed with a strong linear design makes for something pretty special.
The benches come in three different chassis types - brushed, polished and powder coated.
