This playful 'Sepii' chair is by designer Kristian Lindhardt Nørhave of K to N Studio.
Made in collaboration with Danish construction company Yoho, the piece is the final version of a concept project called 'Chair 2.1' and is made of ash wood.
The name 'Sepii' comes from the cuttlefish order, Sepiidae, and is a reference to movements the chair makes when you're seated, because only three of the chairs ten legs touch the ground at the same time, making it possible to 'dance' around.
Kristian - who also forms part of the design team at Søren Rose Studio and is a partner at Sons & Others - recently founded K & N Studio in Copenhagen, and Sepii is the first project in production.
Great stuff. We say watch this space for more.
