Enrico Bosa and Isabella Lovero of Italian studio en&is have recently created this passive amplifying object called 'MegaPhone' for the iPhone.
Made of ceramic, the horn-like form is designed to amplify and optimise the best sound output and sits on a thin wooden frame that cradles it above the table.
This is not just an aesthetic descision, but also increases the vibration of the object and improves the emission of sound.
Designed for an iPhone, the studio's concept is perfect for listening music without headphones, or as a centrepiece for audio conferences to hear the person on the phone as live voice.
