Ding3000 have just launched a couple of great new products at this year's Salone del Mobile in Milan; and here they are.
First up is the '2D' LED which the studio designed for Italian firm Skitsch. The new pendant luminaire joins Ding3000's earlier 2D LED lamp for the brand; and it seems the 2D LED concept is slowly growing into a family.
Second is the 'Join' table, designed using the same principle as Ding3000's 'Join' cutlery which was launched last year.
Both inspired construction-wise by an ancient Japanese game, Join's three legs can be fitted into each other without any tools by means of the enigmatic principle of the 'devils knot'.
Join formed part of the 'Design Deutschland 2011' touring exhibition presented by the German Design Council in Milan last month and is soon off to the ICFF in New York - and after that, the BODW in Hong Kong.
