Seattle-based design studio Iacoli & McAllister are going to be pretty busy during this year's ICFF over in New York; given they've got a whole load of new products showing all over the city.

The duo will be showing their large black 'Frame Cluster' chandelier for the first time which consists of grouping their 'Frame' lights into jumbled clusters. Available in clusters of eleven, seven or two, it also comes in a myriad of colours; black, white, aqua, yellow, tomato and tan.

Iacoli & McAllister will be showing at the NoHo Design District’s second annual emerging talent showcase too.

'NoHo Next' is a show featuring work from up and coming design talent, and here, Iacoli & McAllister will be debuting their new collection of tables, 'Canvas'.

Designed as a canvas for wood colour washes, these sturdy, simple tables are sold singly, or in pairs, and knock down in order to flat pack. Available in tan, tomato, black and white for the base, and washes in natural oak, white, black, washed out black, yellow, tomato or pink, we'd say these would be at home just about anywhere.

At the same event, they will be launching two new colours into their standard colour palette of Frame lights: tan and tomato; as well as a simple black cube chair inspired by Donald Judd.

Also, their new step ladder, 'Step', will debut at the American Design Club’s show, 'Use Me', during the ICFF festivities.

Use Me is an exhibition by 45 young American designers of unapologetically functional objects, each of which exhibits a strong sense of purpose, intelligent use of materials, and the ability to do one thing extremely well.

So, Iacoli & McAllister's 'Step' ladder will fit in nicely - a contemporary piece inspired by a 1920’s step ladder found in Iacoli’s grandfather’s workshop. The steel structure has a matte black powder coat finish, the oak treads are washed in a pale pink non-toxic paint, and it's finished off with handmade brass hinges.

And finally, their 'Hex' weights and openers will be on sale at Sight Unseen’s first pop-up shop which is set to fill the ground floor of the Great Jones Lumber building with an eclectic mix of fashion, design and art objects.

The Hex weights are black powder coated paper weights made from solid steel hex bar and intended as jewellery for the not-quite-paperless desk. The hex opener is made from good solid brass hex stock.

Phew.

We'd call that a pretty good start to the Summer.
