Imperfectly perfect, we love this 'Loveseat' by London-based designer Jake Phipps.

Last on our radar with his faceted 'Stellar' mirrror, Phipps' design in solid cedar for Italian furniture firm Riva1920 is the sort of thing we'd like to find at the bottom of the garden this summer.

With swooping curves for comfort and retaining all the natural grain and character of the tree it comes from, the piece was initially designed a couple of years ago, but is still available directly from Phipps' studio.

A bit of an investment piece; we reckon it's hardly the sort of thing that's ever going to go out of fashion anyway.
