ANNEAU AND VACUUM BY NORMAL STUDIO

There's always something a bit classy and upmarket about objects made from marble.

Smooth and luxurious, it also has so much potential for form, and we really love Normal Studio's use of the stuff in their 'Anneau' and Vacuum' platters.

Created for the 'Marbre Poids Plume' exhibition a little earlier in the year at Parisian Gallery Ymer&Malta, (which A+A Cooren also designed stools and lights for) the table pieces explore curve and line in shades of creamy grey Carrara.

Available from Ymer&Malta in a tiny quantity of signed and numbered pieces, realistically, we'll have to consign them to the ever-growing M.E. wishlist; although the Centre National des Arts Plastiques in France have recently snapped up a Vacuum platter for their collection.
