This rather clever glass set has been designed by Sebastian Bergne to save on both space and spillage.

The 'Column' series is a set of champagne glasses intended to be stacked when full in a column for serving.

So, rather than placing glasses on a tray and serving like this, the Column glasses fit into each other vertically and can be carried in stacks.

Column, and other pieces by Bergne will be exhibited this month at the first 'Haute Cuisine' exhibition - a new food and drink related object festival in Paris.

Celebrating the "best in gastronomy, fashion and food design" the festival will take place in the Jardins du Palais Royal.
