Tom Dixon has just released his new 'Void Light Mini' - a pendant light referencing the Olympic medals.
Solid brass sheets have been pressed, spun and brazed to form a double wall shade, and it's this double layer which reflects and softens the light emitted from a concealed halogen bulb.
Tom's lighting object is also hand-polished to create a mirrored surface which is then lacquered to maintain a high gloss finish, and is available in polished stainless steel and copper if you don't want to go for gold...
