Forget nasty cheapo packets of yuk, this is how we'd like our next airline meal to arrive.
Ian Ferguson and Martin Postler of London studio PostlerFerguson have developed this idea, called 'Brotzeit', which is the German word for ‘snack’.
Essentially it's a conceptual packaging system for in-flight dining and the little boxes are a sight for sore, long-haul eyes.
The concept includes several streamlined capsules filled with fresh local produce and presented in a simple elegant wooden box.
"We at Postlerferguson developed the 'Brotzeit' design proposal that is aimed to inspire decision makers in the airline industry to rethink their approach on how to deliver and serve meals to their customers and what kinds of products are being selected.
Thanks to the shape of the containers and the variety of sizes, Brotzeit is able to deliver many different tastes, textures and smells." say the duo.
Incidentally, we'd also like to point out that Ian and Martin's office is currently the V&A in London.
No wonder this is inspired...
