We've always rather liked the texture of woodchip-y oriented strand board, and this 'Replay' lamp by Victor Vetterlein is made of just that.
Built simply out of a concrete brick, OSB and some concrete board (all retrieved from a construction site skip, so entirely recycled too) the lamp has a pleasingly industrial feel with a whiff of Constructivism in all those angles.
Replay is fitted with a reused standard lighting fixture that accepts screw in CFL or LED bulbs and a cloth electrical cord with switch and plug.
All in all, a concept that's rough (in a good way) and ready for use.
