Oooh, now this is nice.

One of the latest works from Canadian designer and Design Academy Eindoven graduate Lukas Peet, this hanging pendant loop light is currently in the prototype stage and seeking a manufacturer, but we do hope it goes into production soon. 

Literally hanging from its own electrical cord, the piece comes with a section coated in either 24 Karat gold leaf or in a pale shimmery yellow which when illuminated, warms the light given off by the dimmable T8 fluorescent bulb.

Raised by his father Rudi, who's a Goldmith and jewellery designer, Lukas' creative impulses aren't just limited to product design; he's also a rather fine photographer and graphic designer, as well as having a keen interest in art and architecture.
