Valencia-based architect and designer Jordi Lopez Aguilo of Kutarq studio has designed this adaptable screen.

It's called 'Just Fold It', and you can do exactly that with the piece, because depending which angle you choose to have between each module and the contiguous one, it takes on different spatial configurations.

Disassemble the modules in order to store and transport it (the separated parts take up very little space) and you can choose the number of modules to increase or decrease the length of the screen.

The screen is also usable in outdoor situations too, due to perforations across the whole surface. This reduces wind resistance, so stability increases and at the same time gives a slightly transparent effect.

We think these would be particularly great in an outdoor cafe, restaurant, beach club or bar; with the flexibility allowing for changes in seating, as well as privacy or sunshading requirements.
