A little while back we showed you Fredrik Färg's series of upholstered works called 'Succession', but for the London Design Festival, he's brought new editions of the collection to a very special location indeed.
The Ambassador of Sweden has thrown the doors open to her residence at Portland Place for a Swedish design exhibition called 'HEMMA. Swedish Design Goes London.'
'Hemma' is the Swedish word for home, and in its London Design Festival context, Hemma is the place to see the latest key pieces of design emerging from Sweden; including Färg's new jewel bright versions of his 'Succession' stools.
Visitors also have the rare opportunity to see these pieces set against the stunning backdrop of the Swedish Ambassador's Residence, created in the 18th century by Robert and James Adam.
Among the other exhibitors in the show, (which is open now and on show until the 24th of September) include the Whatswhat collective, Mateus, Marta Mattson, Sara Reinholtz and Thomas Malmberg.
