This 'Ribbon’ stool by Nick Rawcliffe for Deadgood is making make its debut at Designjunction during the 2011 London Design Festival.
Produced in collaboration with British designer and creative entrepreneur Nick Rawcliffe, whose company Rawstudio, worked alongside Protomax Plastics in Gowerton, Wales, the little stool represents the distinct identity of a charity awareness ribbon in form
As much a sculpture as it is a functional piece of furniture, it's also all for a good cause because with each sale of the stool, a £14.99 donation will go to British charity Breast Cancer Care via Breast Cancer Care Trading Limited.
“The design really works because the process and the materials perfectly fit the form and the use. They’re single material, easily recyclable, single production process and made right here in the UK.
On top of this they can be easily made in any colour for any worthy cause and they also look dead good!” says Nick Rawcliffe.
