First off, we love the name of this office furniture duo, but most of all we're fans of its luxuriously retro lines.

Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau, the 'Fred' desk and 'Ginger' chair both feature a soft leather shell and a refined mid-century modern feel.

Neat, essential, and comfortable, Lazzeroni designed the Ginger chair both as a natural accompaniment to the Fred desk, and as a separate seat. The swivel version is perfect for a study area, while the fixed model would also work around a dining table.

There's a continual play of references between Ginger and Fred in the design, materials and workmanship.

Ginger’s frame is in special rigid, high density, low thickness, moulded polyurethane and completely covered by a single layer of 5 mm thick saddle leather which comes in two shades of brown - rather like Fred.

We'd definitely do more work if we had this.
