NEW WORKS BY AUTOBAN AT LDF 2011

Istanbul-based design studio Autoban launched a whole host of new interior products at the 2011 London Design Festival last month.

Among the pieces which made their debut at the Tramshed event in east London were the 'Daisy' coffee table and lamp, the 'Pill' lamp in three sizes, the 'Zenovitch' chandelier, 'Slice' chair, and the 'Suite' bed.

All these designs are manufactured by De La Espada and were presented alongside fresh works by the rest of the Espada designer stable; including Studioilse, Matthew Hilton, Leif.designpark, Charlene Mullen, Soren Rose Studio and Benjamin Hubert.

We love the gold-tinged industrial feel of the Pill series, and the no-nonsense practical lines of the garden furniture inspired 'Slice' chair.

That said, there's nothing like a bit of proper drama too - we reckon Autoban's bold 'Suite' bed with that beautiful wraparound wooden headboard is just the ticket...
