'TOR' is a design for Montis, created by Amsterdam-based Ralf Lambie and Johan van Hengel of Lambie & Van Hengel whose design practice is focused on objects for everyday living.
The piece is a side table that does not need a fixed location, but it is designed to be moved around.
The legs extend through the tabletop creating the grip and give the table its playful character, whilst the raised rim of the surface prevents objects from falling off.
Simple, useful, and available in six zingy colours, we can see this working in just about any room in the house - literally - since you can carry it to wherever you need it.
