Last week we featured a chair made up of tessellated pieces, and here's another similar interior piece which is malleable too.
First presented at Maison et Objet earlier in the year, this is the 'Poppy' bowl by Grace Tan of Kwodrent, who designed it for FARM.
A composition in laser-cut stainless steel, Poppy's series of cuts deconstructs the sheet metal to produce an organic and highly malleable property that is akin to textile while retaining its rigidity and strength.
Set to be available in the FARM online shop sometime this month, this piece has a Boontje-like feel, crossed with a geometric snowflake style appearance; making it kind of perfect for the table over the Christmas holidays...
