Aldo Bakker's lastest product release is 'Jug' - a new porcelain water carafe.

Formed in an organic sinuous shape (which comes in five colours) it's a carafe unlike any we've seen before, but has all the hallmarks of Bakker's hand.

With his prevous works keenly collected by establishments like the V&A in London, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Gemeentemuseum Den Haag and the Vitra Design Museum, we see no reason why they wouldn't be hankering after one of these too.

Priveekollektie and Particles Gallery will soon be presenting this piece, alongside Bakker's wooden pieces such as the ‘3dwn1up’ chair in the ‘Treated’ limited edition version, and Tonus, at PAN Amsterdam in a show which runs from the 20th until the 27th of November.

If you're in the 'hood, we suggest you go and have a look in person - Bakker's work hasn't been described as tactile and sensuous for no reason...
