Takeshi Miyakawa has created this rather poetic little table and lighting object.
Called 'Candy Blossom', it's made of a single piece of acrylic, cut and bent to create a form of piled fractal cubes.
Perfect for a coffee and a few magazines, we'd imagine that it's soft pink glow (the same delicate hue as the petals of the cherry tree that perhaps gives it it's name) would be a welcoming and cosy sight on a winter evening.
Quite a bit of Miyakawa's work plays with these kind of cuboid, balanced, stacked and nested cubes - if you like this then check out his 'Fractal' storage system too which we previously featured here, and head to his website for even more.
