Meet Ellen; a hybrid bench and shelf unit by sisters Anna-Katharina and Isabelle-Franziska Löhn, who together make up the design duo SÖR.

Made of bent plywood, one side of the piece is a shelf which offers space to store books and magazines. And on the other, it's a bench where people can sit, read, have a break, meet others, chat, relax, take and leave stuff.

The three elements of which Ellen consists, can be put on top of each other, but can also be combined in expansive constellations radiating out into the room - essentially becoming a space divider too.

Both good looking and clever; we'd say Ellen is a bit of a catch...
