Take a look at Irish designer Joseph Walsh's newest series of beautifully crafted works, entitled 'Enignum'.
The name derives from the Latin words Enigma (meaing 'mystery') and Lignum ('wood'), and for Joseph, they sum up the series:
"...the mystery of the composition lies in the material." he says.
The series features tables, chairs, shelving and even a bed made by stripping olive ash wood into thin layers, then manipulating and reconstructing them into free form compositions.
